About This Clinic

Welcome to PawPrints Spay/Neuter Clinic, a program under the Companion Animal Welfare Alliance non-profit umbrella. We are located in Chico, CA and specialize in spaying and neutering free-roaming cats.

Our primary focus is high-volume spay and neuter services for community cats. Since our inception, we've spayed/neutered over 3,500 cats!

We are dedicated to reducing the overpopulation of unowned cats in our community. We ask for a $40 copay to help support our mission.

Wellness & Preventive Care

Comprehensive Physical Exam

Available

A thorough medical exam is conducted for each cat before surgery to assess their health, identify parasites (e.g., ear mites/worms), and ensure they are stable for the procedure.

Core Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo)

Available

We include Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) vaccinations as part of our spay/neuter packages for free-roaming cats, protecting them from common and deadly diseases.

Flea & Tick Prevention

Available

We administer flea treatment during spay/neuter surgeries to protect free-roaming cats from infestations, contributing to their overall health and well-being post-procedure.

Microchipping & Registration

Available

Every cat we spay or neuter receives a microchip for permanent identification, increasing their chances of reunification with owners or tracking in case of relocation. Registration details are provided to ensure traceability.

We specialize in providing free spay and neuter surgeries for free-roaming (stray/feral) cats only, ensuring their long-term health and community impact. Our procedures are performed with care, adhering to high standards of safety and recovery.
