About This Clinic

The Humane Society of Ventura County is a compassionate care shelter and non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and adoption of animals in need throughout Ventura County, CA.

We offer comprehensive services including spay and neuter programs, low-cost vaccination clinics, microchipping, and owner requested euthanasia. Additional services include emergency response and support for pets in need.

The HSVC Cares program increases outreach efforts by supplying free pet food, offering low to no-cost pet vaccinations, and providing low to no-cost spay and neuter surgery to communities in need. We are Fear-Free Certified!

Services Offered

Wellness & Preventive Care

Core Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo)

Available

We offer low-cost vaccination clinics every Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm unless otherwise noted on our website. These vaccinations protect your pets from serious and potentially fatal diseases such as rabies distemper parvovirus infectious hepatitis Bordetella feline leukemia and more.

Flea & Tick Prevention

Available

We are excited to now be selling over-the-counter flea products including Seresto Collars and Canine Advantage II. We do not offer application services at this time.

Microchipping & Registration

Available

We offer implantation of microchips including registration with 24Petwatch for $25. Lifetime registration is included! Walk-in microchipping services are offered Monday through Friday from 11 am to 4 pm.

Surgery

Spay & Neuter Surgery

Available

We offer low-cost to no-cost spay and neuter services for dogs and cats in need. We also provide free remote vaccination clinics at locations across Ventura County.

Urgent & Critical Care
