About This Clinic

Mercer Veterinary Clinic has been providing free veterinary care to the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Sacramento, CA since 1992.

We offer a range of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, problem-based medical exams with diagnostics and treatment, flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, and pet food.

Mercer Veterinary Clinic is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers – UC Davis veterinary students, undergraduate students, and local veterinarians.
