Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing care for lost and rescued pets in Santa Cruz. We strive to be a socially conscious shelter serving our community.

We offer services including animal adoptions, veterinary care, spay/neuter programs, and end-of-life support. View available animals on our website before visiting!

Adoptions are first come, first served! Please have proof of home ownership or landlord approval prepared when you visit.

We are open 11am-5pm daily except Sundays & Mondays. Please ring the bell for stray animal dropoff on those days between 1-5pm.
