The Humane Society of Fremont County is an independent non-profit open-admission animal shelter dedicated to providing animal-services in Fremont County, Colorado and surrounding cities.

We offer a range of services including adoption programs, affordable veterinary care such as *low-cost pet vaccinations* and *pet microchipping*, and support for pets in need through our community outreach efforts.

The Humane Society of Fremont County is committed to providing refuge, medical care, and finding adoptive homes for stray and surrendered animals. We are an Open-Admission Shelter.

Our mission is to end animal homelessness and provide the necessary care to companion animals in need. We appreciate any support you can give!

Wellness & Preventive Care

Microchipping & Registration

Available

We offer affordable microchipping services for pets, including lifetime enrollment options ($40) or low-cost chips ($35 on special days). Every adoption includes a free microchip to ensure your pet can be reunited with you if lost. Our staff also scans strays for existing microchips and registers new ones quickly.

Parasite Deworming (Intestinal)

Available

We provide affordable parasite deworming for both felines and canines to eliminate intestinal worms, including roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms. This service helps protect your pet from harmful parasites that may also pose risks to human family members.

Surgery

Spay & Neuter Surgery

Available

We include free spay/neuter procedures with every adoption to reduce the number of unwanted pets in our community. These surgeries help prevent reproductive cancers, infections, and behavioral issues while promoting responsible pet ownership.
