Our pre-treatment workflow includes In-House Bloodwork (CBC & Chemistry Panels) to assess organ function, thyroid levels, and overall health before I-131 Therapy. These tests ensure that pets are medically ready and help tailor care for optimal outcomes.

While specialized for hyperthyroidism, we offer emergency care under Emergency Stabilization protocols for patients experiencing acute health crises prior to therapy. This may include supportive treatments (e.g., IV fluid therapy) to prepare cats for I-131 therapy.

All patients admitted for Radioactive Iodine Therapy receive Hospitalization & 24-Hour Monitoring in secure, dedicated spaces designed for radiation safety. During recovery, we provide continuous care to ensure the cat’s health and monitor radiation levels adhering to strict medical protocols.

As part of pre-treatment evaluations, we administer IV Fluid Therapy to manage hydration and stabilize critically ill hyperthyroid patients. This prepares cats for safe and effective Radioactive Iodine Therapy by addressing electrolyte imbalances and metabolic stressors.
