About This Clinic

Sally Wetherbee Adoption Center is located in Albany, GA, an expansion of the Albany Humane Society. This state-of-the-art facility focuses on increasing adoption rates and working towards becoming a no-kill shelter.

SWAC provides care for both dogs and cats, offering climate-controlled kennels for canines and open rooms with comfortable spaces for felines. We focus on providing enrichment and opportunities for adopters to connect with pets.

We house up to 16 dogs and 18 cats daily and welcome fosters and adopters to meet our animals. We are a Fear-Free Certified facility!
