Welcome to the Grady County Animal Control Department, a NO-KILL facility proudly serving Cairo, GA. We are dedicated to responding to calls regarding stray dogs and cats.
The department works closely with Best Friends Dog Rescue to provide vet care, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, adoption services, and transport to other rescues. Our primary goal is to achieve a 90% adoption rate for all animals in our care.
We are committed to animal welfare and offer assistance with spay & neuter programs. Best Friends Dog Rescue provides income-based support to help you sterilize your pets, reducing the risk of cancer and controlling pet population growth.
If you see an abused or neglected animal, please call us at 229-377-3070. We encourage all Grady County residents to prioritize responsible pet ownership through spaying/neutering and leash laws.
