Harris County Animal Shelter

The Harris County Animal Control Department serves all cities within Harris County, GA. They enforce local animal control ordinances.

This department handles complaints related to stray animals, nuisance concerns, animal cruelty, and bites, working closely with the Health Department. The shelter houses both dogs (20 units) and cats (28 units).

The Animal Control Department offers an adoption program and a trap loan program in conjunction with the local Humane Society.
