Long County Animal Control

Long County Animal Control is dedicated to serving the community of Ludowici, GA, providing essential services related to animal welfare.

We facilitate pet adoptions with fees starting at $5.00 for cats and $25.00 for dogs (spay/neuter required within 30 days). We also manage impoundment and owner surrender processes.

The department enforces county ordinances related to animal control, including fines ranging from $100 to $1,000 plus surcharges for violations such as livestock on public ways or nuisance barking.
