The Wildlife Medical Clinic at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is a student volunteer-run clinic dedicated to providing care for ill, injured, and orphaned native wild animals in Urbana, IL.
We accept most native wildlife species (excluding skunks and bats) with the primary goal of releasing them back into their natural habitat after full recovery. The clinic also provides hands-on training for veterinary students.
The WMC is a non-profit organization relying on donations and grants to cover operating costs, including food, diagnostic tests, medications, and surgeries. We are proud to have approximately ninety dedicated volunteers.
