About This Clinic

The Humane Society of Elkhart County is dedicated to saving animals and enriching lives in Bristol, Indiana. We are a comprehensive animal welfare organization serving the entire county.

We offer services including pet adoptions, assistance with lost & found pets, and resources for pet rehoming. Additionally we provide vaccinations and microchips to keep your furry friends safe.

The HSEC investigates an average of 100 animal abuse or neglect complaints monthly. We are the only Humane Society in Elkhart County.

Wellness & Preventive Care

Core Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo)

Available

We provide essential Core Vaccinations including Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza (DHLPP), and Rhinotracheitis/Calicivirus/Panleukopenia (FVRCP) for dogs and cats starting at 6 weeks of age. These vaccines are critical for protecting pets from common and potentially life-threatening diseases.

Microchipping & Registration

Available

We provide Microchipping & Registration services for free with proof of a current rabies vaccination. Our microchips include lifetime registration, ensuring your pet can be identified and returned to you if lost. We also assist in verifying and updating microchip information.

Surgery

Spay & Neuter Surgery

Available

We perform Spay & Neuter Surgery as part of our comprehensive care for surrendered pets. This service helps control pet overpopulation and improves the health and longevity of your pets. Fees for these procedures are included in the surrender process.
