Humane Society of North Iowa

The Humane Society of North Iowa is located in Mason City, IA and has been working hard to find homes for hundreds of abandoned, displaced, and neglected animals each year. We are proud to be a no-kill shelter.

We offer services related to animal adoption including cats and dogs. Adoption data shows we have found homes for nearly 13,000 animals…and counting!

The Humane Society of North Iowa is proud to be a no-kill shelter. We rely on individual donations to help the hundreds of animals in need.

We are celebrating our 65th Anniversary! A donation of $65 or more will help pay for food, shelter and veterinarian care. Thank you for helping us continue Alice Anne’s legacy of caring for animals with kindness, love and mercy!
