We provide comprehensive physical exams to help keep your cat healthy throughout their life and catch any potential issues early on.

We offer a series of vaccines for kittens starting at 6 weeks of age that need to be boostered every 2-3 weeks. The Rabies vaccination will be the last in the series and can be given once the kitten reaches 12 weeks old.

We are here to help you during these golden years of your cat’s life and keep them comfortable, happy, and around for as long as we can. We recommend beginning annual bloodwork when your cat is around the ages 6 or 7.

We offer Rabies vaccinations which are required by law in Jefferson County and FVRCP vaccines that prevent against feline viral rhinotracheitis calicivirus and feline panleukopenia.

We recommend getting your kitten started on flea prevention early in life as fleas are an all-year-round issue now.

We offer microchipping to track down the pet's owner when found. The process is uncomplicated and does not require sedation for the pet.

We provide nutritional counseling based on your cat’s age and growth rate. We recommend getting them started on a food specifically formulated for kittens during their first year of life.

We offer fecal testing to check for intestinal parasites which are extremely common in kittens and can cause diarrhea and vomiting.

We recommend annual bloodwork when your cat is around the ages 6 or 7 to get a baseline for what their organ functions look like and watch for any changes as the years progress.

We recommend fecal testing on an annual basis even if your cat always lives inside to prevent health issues caused by intestinal parasites.

Our recent addition of our high-powered dental radiograph machine lets us get a full picture of what your cat’s mouth looks like and lets us determine what the best course of action going forward will be.

During a dental procedure the doctor determines if there are any teeth that need to be removed or any other issues that need to be addressed. Tooth loss is not an uncommon occurrence in our older patients and they often do very well once any suspect teeth have been removed.

We offer dental procedures to treat periodontal disease which is the most common dental disease in cats right now.

We recommend neutering at 6 months of age allowing them time to grow before doing the surgery. Neutering an animal is overall the healthiest option as it greatly reduces the risk of certain cancers and pyometra in female cats.

We offer anti-inflammatory and pain management medications both injected and sent home with the patient after surgery.

We offer standard pet boarding.
