Bullitt County Animal Control and Shelter, Pet Rescue

Bullitt County Animal Control and Shelter is the primary sheltering and enforcement agency for domestic animals in Shepherdsville, KY. We are established by the Bullitt County Fiscal Court.

We operate as a public safety agency with regards to dogs and cats, investigating abuse/neglect cases and maintaining a pet licensing program.

Our mission is to provide services which safeguard the public and humanely house and care for animals. We are dedicated to protecting animals from abuse and neglect.

We engage the community with pet adoptions and volunteer opportunities, and offer MUCH MORE! If your pet is missing, please contact us as soon as possible.
