Somerset Animal Shelter

Welcome to the Somerset Humane Society Animal Shelter, a 501(c)3 no-kill shelter located in Skowhegan, Maine. We are dedicated to promoting compassion and preventing animal cruelty.

We provide temporary housing and care for stray and abandoned animals from surrounding towns. Our services include finding suitable homes for pets that aren't reclaimed, taking in owner surrendered pets as space allows, and assisting with lost & found situations.

SHS relies on private donors to fund our programs and services. Your donation stays within the community and helps displaced pets receive rehabilitation and care.
