The Boston Animal Care and Control Shelter is dedicated to providing comprehensive animal care services throughout the city. Our primary location is in Roslindale, MA.

We offer a range of essential services including low-cost rabies clinics a year-round pet food pantry and enforcement of local animal ordinances. We also handle dog licensing inspections and investigations into cases of animal cruelty and neglect.

The shelter is staffed by a full-time veterinarian and offers adoption hours Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm. We are Fear-Free Certified ensuring a positive experience for your pet.
