About This Clinic

Friends of the Marshfield Animal Shelter is a community-based non-profit located in Marshfield, MA. Established in 2015, we are dedicated to supporting the municipal Marshfield Animal Shelter.

We offer various programs including community veterinary cost assistance, pet food assistance, and low-cost spay/neuter services. We also assist with TNR initiatives for feral cats.

The Friends of the Marshfield Animal Shelter is a Fear-Free Certified organization committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for animals in need.

Through our Rabies Vaccination Clinics, we provide affordable core vaccinations, including rabies and other essential vaccines, to support pet health and public safety. Residents can participate regardless of location, with proof of prior vaccination required for multi-year options.

Microchipping & Registration

Available

We collaborate with Marshfield Animal Control to host low-cost microchipping clinics for pets, ensuring your dog or cat is registered with a permanent identification system for safe return in case of loss. Clinics are held seasonally at the Marshfield Animal Shelter.

Surgery

Spay & Neuter Surgery

Available

We provide low-cost spay and neuter services for cats, dogs, and rabbits through partnerships with veterinarians and financial aid initiatives. Assistance is available for pet owners demonstrating financial need, with direct payments made to trusted veterinary practitioners in our network.
