The Montague Bookmill is a beloved used bookstore housed in an 1842 gristmill, beautifully situated on the banks of the Sawmill River near Amherst and Northampton, Massachusetts.

Our extensive collection features thousands of books spanning academic disciplines and general interests – from Austen to Zola. Books are generally half-price!

The Montague Mill is more than just a bookstore; it's home to Sawmill River Arts and Turn It Up! music, plus the Lady Killigrew Cafe offering food and drink all day.
