Huron Humane Society

The Huron Humane Society Inc. (HHS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for the homeless dogs and cats of Alpena County.

We are a no-kill sanctuary working to heal and rehabilitate the adoptable dogs and cats that come through our doors, providing shelter and locating suitable homes for animals in need. We also obtain needed veterinary services for animals in our care.

The Huron Humane Society relies on private donations to keep our doors open and actively seeks partnerships with other organizations.
