Heaven At Home Pet Hospice

Subcutaneous (SQ) or intravenous IV Fluid Therapy is offered as part of our palliative services to support hydration and organ function in pets nearing end-of-life. We provide caregiver education to administer SQ fluids at home and may prescribe emergency kits for rapid response. This service complements our Quality of Life Assessment programs to prevent dehydration-related suffering.

As part of our palliative care approach, we deliver Pain Management through multimodal therapies tailored to each pet’s comfort needs—including FDA-approved medications, non-pharmacological options like Cold Laser Therapy, and Assisi Loop therapy (PEMF treatment). Emergency comfort kits with pre-prescribed injectables are provided for acute crises, ensuring 24-hour relief with minimal caregiver burden.

Our At-Home Pet Acupuncture services stimulate specific points to ease arthritis, pain, nerve disorders, and soft tissue injuries, leveraging endorphin release and improved microcirculation. We integrate acupuncture into rehabilitation programs for geriatric patients, pets with IVDD, or post-orthopedic/neurologic injuries. Each session is customized to enhance mobility and reduce medication reliance, aligning with Cold Laser Therapy for synergistic effects.

We incorporate Cold Laser Therapy into multimodal pain management for inflammation reduction, speedy wound healing, and tissue regeneration in hospice patients. This low-stimulation therapy targets arthritis, post-surgical pain, and neurologic injuries to reduce reliance on oral/IV medications. Often paired with acupuncture, it fosters comfort and extended mobility during end-of-life care.

Complementing At-Home Pet Acupuncture, we offer Chiropractic Adjustments to address joint dysfunction, gait abnormalities, and spinal pressure causing chronic mobility decline in senior or injured pets. Our non-invasive techniques reduce pain, improve nerve signaling, and support rehabilitation for conditions like orthopedic injuries. We provide adjustments in-home during hospice visits, avoiding undue stress for pets.

We provide Telemedicine Consultations to assess your pet’s quality of life through our Virtual Quality of Life Assessments. This 30-minute video consultation with one of our experts evaluates and tracks well-being via our proprietary scales. We create tailored recommendations for environmental adaptations and potential medications (though we cannot prescribe without an in-person vet visit). Additionally, we integrate assessments into our At-Home Pet Hospice Care programs to ensure comfort and dignity throughout life’s final stages.

We specialize in At-Home Euthanasia, offering a compassionate and fear-free experience where your pet can peacefully transition surrounded by loved ones in a familiar environment. Our At-Home Euthanasia Referrals ensure the service aligns with Fear Free principles, providing comfort especially for children, surviving pets, and grieving families. The home setting fosters a personalized goodbye, supported by our team’s expertise in end-of-life care transitions.

We leverage Telemedicine Consultations to provide comprehensive, remote assessments for pets enrolled in hospice care, emergency planning, or quality-of-life discussions. These sessions include reviewing medical records, creating personalized care plans, and offering real-time problem-solving (e.g., pain management or symptom tracking). Follow-ups may also integrate Grief Support Resources and connection to palliative therapies.
