Sanilac County Humane Society

Sanilac County Humane Society is a private non-profit humane agency located in Carsonville, Michigan. We are the only independent NO KILL shelter in the Thumb of Michigan!

We provide shelter and medical care to more than 1200 animals each year and rely solely on private donations. Our services include adoption, appointments for microchipping, and a focus on finding new homes for homeless pets.

SCHS is run by volunteers and public donations. We are proud partners with the Bissell Empty the Shelters program!
