We offer Puppy & Kitten Wellness Packages through our shelter medicine programs. These packages include core vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and spay/neuter services to ensure young pets start their lives with a strong foundation of health.

We administer Core Vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and parvo as part of our wellness clinics and intake protocols. All dogs and cats entering our shelter receive these vaccinations to protect their health and prepare them for adoption or foster care.

We offer Heartworm Testing & Prevention for all dogs in our care, including those adopted or fostered through our programs. Every dog entering our shelter is tested for heartworm disease at intake, and all puppies and dogs are placed on heartworm prevention medication. We also educate the public about the importance of heartworm prevention through our 'Have a Heart' Heartworm Awareness Program.

We provide Flea & Tick Prevention treatments for all pets in our care, including those in foster homes and adoption candidates. Preventative care is a critical part of our wellness programs to ensure pets remain healthy and comfortable.

We provide Microchipping & Registration services for a low cost of $5.00 to ensure pets can be identified and reunited with their owners if lost or impounded. All animals taken into our care are scanned for existing microchips, and we encourage pet owners to microchip their pets as a permanent form of identification.

We offer Nutritional Counseling & Weight Management for pets in our care, including those in foster homes and adoption candidates. Our team provides guidance on proper diet, portion control, and weight management to ensure pets maintain optimal health.

We offer Parasite Deworming for intestinal parasites as part of our intake and wellness protocols. All pets entering our shelter are dewormed to prevent the spread of parasites and ensure their health before adoption or foster placement.

We provide Behavioral Counseling for pets in our care, including those in foster homes and adoption candidates. Our team offers guidance on socialization, training, and managing behavioral issues to prepare pets for successful placement in loving homes.

We provide essential Spay & Neuter Surgery for cats and dogs as part of our shelter medicine and community wellness programs. This service helps control pet overpopulation and improves the health and behavior of animals in our care and the community. All pets adopted or fostered through Tupelo Lee Humane Society are spayed or neutered before placement.

We provide Foreign Body Removal services for pets ingesting or otherwise trapping foreign objects. Our veterinary team addresses these emergencies as part of our medical care for shelter and foster animals.

We offer C-Section (Cesarean Section) services for nursing mothers in our care, particularly those in our neonatal kitten program. This ensures the health of both the mother and her litter during difficult births.

We provide Wound & Laceration Repair for pets injured during intake, foster care, or shelter life. Our veterinary team ensures proper treatment and healing for all animals in our programs.

We provide Emergency Stabilization services for pets in critical condition, including those brought in through animal control or community intakes. Our team works to stabilize animals before further medical treatment or transfer to specialized care.

We offer Hospitalization & 24-Hour Monitoring for pets requiring intensive care, including those recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. Our contracted veterinarians provide round-the-clock medical supervision for foster pets and shelter animals.

We provide Pain Management for pets undergoing surgery, recovering from illness, or experiencing chronic pain. Our veterinary team ensures pets receive appropriate pain relief as part of their medical care.

We provide Poison & Toxin Treatment for pets exposed to harmful substances. Our veterinary team stabilizes and treats affected animals as part of our emergency and medical care services.

We offer Medical Grooming services, including Sanitary Shave, Nail Trimming & Dremeling, and Ear Cleaning & Plucking, for pets in our care. These services are provided to maintain hygiene and comfort, especially for animals with medical conditions or those preparing for adoption.

We provide Anal Gland Expression as part of our medical grooming and wellness services for dogs in need. This service helps prevent discomfort and health issues related to anal gland impaction.

We provide Quality of Life Assessment services to evaluate the well-being of pets in our care. This helps guide decisions about medical treatment, end-of-life care, and placement options for animals with chronic or terminal conditions.
