Adams Animal Inn

We require Rabies, Distemper, and Parvo vaccinations as a requirement for boarding at Adams Animal Inn. Rabies and DHLP (which includes Parvovirus) shots are mandatory for dogs, with Bordetella also required for certain dogs. Cats must be up-to-date on Rabies and FVRCP vaccines to stay with us.

We check all pets for fleas and ticks before boarding. While we do not offer preventive treatments on site, owners may choose to treat their pets with Capstar tablets (to be paid by the owner) as part of our flea and tick management.

We provide on-site insulin injections for diabetic dogs or cats without charge. While not explicitly stated, our ability to administer intramuscular/insulin injections implies we can offer IV fluid therapy or similar medical injections when necessary for pets under our care during boarding.

We offer bathing and grooming services for pets during boarding. Our facility includes grooming options like brushing, gentle baths, and other basic pet care maintenance tailored to your pet’s needs.

As part of our grooming and boarding services, we provide nail trimming and can safely dremel nails to maintain your pet’s paw health.

We offer anal gland expression as a regular pet care service for dogs. This is often included with our grooming services but can also be arranged separately if needed for your pet’s comfort.

We provide affordable and safe boarding for dogs and cats in a quiet rural environment. Our pet care includes comfortable indoor/outdoor runs for dogs (heated in winter with grass yards), individual cages equipped with shelves and window views for cats, and dedicated 24/7 care by on-site owners.
