Bitter Root Humane Association

Bitter Root Humane Association is the only animal shelter serving the Bitterroot Valley since its founding, located in Hamilton, MT. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care for animals in need.

We offer a range of services including pet adoptions, shelter & care for homeless pets, and reuniting lost pets with their owners. Additional services include community pet food pantry and pet cremation services.

BRHA partners with local businesses to provide food and supplies to those in need. We are committed to supporting the community and ensuring all animals have a safe place to go.
