About This Clinic

The Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter (YVAS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Billings, MT dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond.

We provide compassionate and high-quality care for Billings’ lost and transitioning companion animals. We offer services like adoption resources, spay & neuter programs, and end of life services.

YVAS has grown to become the largest shelter in Montana, intaking over 5,000 animals every year!

Wellness & Preventive Care

Microchipping & Registration

Available

We offer ID tags & microchipping services to ensure pets can be safely returned to their owners if lost. Microchipping is a permanent form of identification that increases the likelihood of reuniting pets with their families.

Behavioral Counseling

We offer training & behavioral counseling through our resources to help pet owners address common behavioral issues. Our goal is to strengthen the bond between pets and their families while ensuring a harmonious living environment.
