Bloomfield Animal Shelter

Bloomfield Animal Shelter is a no-kill facility managed by the Township of Bloomfield, New Jersey. We take in stray and sick or injured animals from the jurisdictions we service.

The shelter accepts surrendered pets from Bloomfield residents only and is open by appointment for adoptions during daily business hours. Adoption appointments are scheduled once an application has been submitted to the shelter and approved.

We welcome Volunteers to assist with on-site duties, including dog walking and cat socializing. The minimum age requirement to volunteer is 18.
