We ensure all adopted pets receive Core Vaccinations for rabies, distemper, parvo, and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia). These vaccinations are critical for protecting pets from serious diseases.

We offer Heartworm Testing & Prevention for dogs during wellness visits at our clinics. Early detection and prevention are key to avoiding this serious and potentially fatal disease.

As part of our wellness packages, we provide Flea & Tick Prevention treatments to adopted pets. This helps safeguard their health and comfort while reducing the risk of secondary infections or diseases like Lyme.

We include Microchipping & Registration for all pets adopted through our shelters. Microchips significantly increase the chances of reuniting lost pets with their families, as they are scanned by shelters, veterinarians, and police departments nationwide.

All pets adopted through AHS receive Parasite Deworming as part of their medical evaluation. This ensures they are free from intestinal parasites before going home with new families.

We perform Fecal Testing for parasites (e.g., FIV/FELV in cats) as part of our adoption medical evaluations. This ensures pets are healthy and ready for their new homes.

We provide Spay & Neuter Surgery for dogs and cats over 12 weeks of age at our Newark, Lacey, and Tinton Falls clinics. Our experienced veterinarians ensure high-quality care during these procedures, which also help reduce pet overpopulation and improve long-term health.

C-Section (Cesarean Section) services are available at our medical facilities for shelter animals requiring emergency or elective births.

Hospitalization & 24-Hour Monitoring are available for shelter animals requiring post-surgical or medical care at our Newark and Forked River facilities.

IV Fluid Therapy is administered as needed for shelter animals undergoing surgery or requiring medical stabilization at our clinics.

Pain Management protocols are followed during and after surgeries (e.g., spay/neuter) to ensure patient comfort and recovery.

Medical Grooming services, including Nail Trimming, Ear Cleaning, and Sanitary Shave (as needed), are provided during wellness visits.

Sanitary Shave is performed as part of post-surgical care for spay/neuter patients to promote healing and hygiene.

Nail Trimming & Dremeling are included in our spay/neuter wellness packages to ensure pets leave our care with proper grooming.

Chiropractic Adjustments are offered for some exotic and farm animals at Popcorn Park, where routine care includes back adjustments for comfort.
