About This Clinic

Taos Feral Feline Friends is a 501-(c)(3) animal welfare charity located in El Prado, NM. We are dedicated to improving the lives of cats and dogs in Taos County.

Currently, our clinic services – including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchipping for owned pets – are managed by Spay Taos. Appointments are available through their website or via the link provided on our page. All services are free of charge.

We offer specialized support for feral cat trapping and a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) program to help control the feral cat population in Taos County. Walk-in appointments are accepted for TNR cats.

Wellness & Preventive Care

Core Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo)

Available

We include Core Vaccinations as part of our free wellness program for owned pets. This ensures protection against critical diseases like Rabies, Distemper, and Parvo during your appointment.

Microchipping & Registration

Available

Owned pets receive a free Microchip, which we register with the microchip company on your behalf. This ensures your pet’s safety in case of loss or theft, with no additional steps required from you.

Surgery

Spay & Neuter Surgery

Available

We provide free Spay & Neuter Surgery for cats and dogs in Taos County as part of our mission to reduce the local stray population. All services are included at no cost, with appointments available for owned pets (dogs under 125 lbs) and walk-in TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) for feral cats.
