The Mescalero Conservation Law Enforcement Department is located at 278 Pine St. in Mescalero, NM, and is responsible for the protection of natural resources and wildlife species within the exterior boundaries of the Mescalero Apache Indian reservation.

The department conducts a wide range of tasks including feral hog eradication, wood permit checks, fishing permit checks, game counts, and assisting BIA law enforcement. They also offer Hunter’s Education Classes and an Annual Rabies Clinic.

Mescalero Conservation Department provides events such as Hunter’s Education Classes Basic Wilderness Survival and Navigation and an Annual Rabies Clinic for the youth of Mescalero and surrounding areas.
