Riverhead Animal Shelter

North Fork Animal Welfare League operates the Riverhead Town Animal Shelter in Aquebogue, NY, serving homeless, lost, and at-risk dogs and cats.

The Riverhead shelter is a state-of-the-art facility designed to be bright, airy, and accommodating for animals. We offer areas for intake, family bonding, and humane education.

We are dedicated to saving as many animals as possible and keeping our shelters full and safe from euthanization. All Volunteers 18 and older are welcome!
