Davidson County Animal Shelter

The Davidson County Animal Shelter is an open admission facility located in Lexington, NC. We are primarily funded by the Davidson County government and donations.

We provide shelter for stray, injured, abused, or unwanted animals in Davidson County. Our services include animal control, adoption opportunities, and a lost & found program.

The Animal Shelter’s vision is to give abandoned and neglected pets a second chance to live long healthy lives in safe loving homes and return lost animals to their rightful owners.

Visit us Monday-Friday 11am-5pm or Saturday 11am-3pm at our facility on Glendale Road. We are dedicated to animal welfare in Davidson County!
