The American Museum of the House Cat in Sylva, NC is dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of art, artifacts, and literature relating to the housecat.

We offer a one-of-a-kind educational experience with a historical multimedia art collection solely focused on felines. Key services include exhibits showcasing cat history and culture, as well as supporting our affiliated cage-free shelter.
