FOSS (Friends of Stokes Shelter)

Friends Of The Stokes Shelter (FOSS) Animal Adoption Center is located in Walnut Cove, NC. We exist to rescue homeless domestic animals and facilitate their placement into loving new homes.

We serve as a community resource, providing information and educational opportunities for pet owners regarding animal health and welfare. We focus on adoption services for dogs, cats, and other pets.

Thanks to the Margo T. Petrie Foundation, FOSS was able to spay and neuter 170 animals!

Friends Of The Stokes Shelter Inc. is open by appointment only: Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 6 pm, Saturday 10 am - 2 pm.
