Feline Urgent Rescue of WNC

Welcome to Feline Urgent Rescue (FUR) of Western North Carolina. FUR is a non-profit cage-free last-chance sanctuary dedicated to the rescuing rehabilitation and rehoming of cats in our community.

FUR’s goal is simple: to eliminate feline homelessness and reduce shelter euthanasia rates. They offer services including cat rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption.

With over 1000 cats rescued and rehomed, FUR operates mostly by volunteers and relies on donations. They are committed to providing a second chance for every abused, abandoned, and neglected cat.
