We provide thorough Comprehensive Physical Exams for all cats, including kittens, adults, and senior pets. Every examination begins from nose to tail, assessing overall health, detecting early signs of illness (such as congenital defects or ear mites), and establishing a health baseline for preventative and future care. Our exams ensure your cat's well-being and are essential for vaccination protocols.

We offer specialized Puppy & Kitten Wellness Packages tailored for cats, focusing on critical first-year care. Our packages include required visits at 6-8 weeks, 9-11 weeks, and 12 weeks+, covering FVRCPC vaccinations (protection against feline upper respiratory diseases and panleukopenia), deparasitization with intestinal deworming, and Feline Leukemia/FIV testing. We recommend year-round parasite prevention and vaccination plans customized to your cat’s needs.

For Senior Pet Wellness Care (cats 9+ years), we recommend semiannual comprehensive exams, with urinalysis and in-house bloodwork (CBC & chemistry panels) to monitor kidney disease, liver function, hyperthyroidism, and diabetes. We provide proactive care plans based on blood screen findings and early disease detection, ensuring senior cats receive treatment tailored to their aging needs, such as diet changes and preventive dental care.

We administer Core Vaccinations, including Rabies (mandatory by law in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana), and the FVRCP vaccine, which protects against Distemper (panleukopenia) and other upper respiratory diseases. Rabies vaccinations are administered at 12 weeks and updated as required (1-year or 3-year intervals). We strongly recommend the FVRCP vaccine even for indoor cats due to airborne risks.

We provide Flea & Tick Prevention treatments and monthly medications to protect your cat from infestations. We recommend year-round prevention due to fleas' resilience in indoor environments and the transmittable risk of flea-related diseases like tapeworms. Our programs include professional guidance to manage fleas and ticks in your home, especially in carpets and bedding.

As part of our kitten care, we include Parasite Deworming (Intestinal) with Pyrantel or similar dewormers to eliminate common intestinal parasites like roundworms or hookworms. Deworming is also recommended during annual exams for adult cats to prevent parasites that may affect your cat’s health or pose zoonotic risks to your household.

Our in-house laboratory performs Bloodwork (CBC and chemistry panels) for routine and diagnostic use, including monitoring senior pet wellness and conditions like kidney or liver disease. These tests identify early health shifts, such as inflammation, organ dysfunction, or metabolic disorders, enabling timely interventions. Bloodwork is also required for hyperthyroidism management to assess renal values masked by the condition.

We perform Urinalysis on a wellness and diagnostic basis, focusing on senior and diabetic cats, which are prone to urinary tract issues. These tests screen for crystals, infections, kidney disease, and other abnormalities, helping us tailor treatment (e.g., diabetes management or bladder disease care) to preserve your cat’s quality of life.

Our in-house Digital X-Rays provide radiography for quick, high-quality imaging, supporting diagnostic workups for trauma, orthopedic issues, and internal abnormalities. Digital X-rays offer real-time viewing, enhancing accuracy for conditions like fractured bones, foreign bodies, or cardiac/abdominal pathologies. We use these for emergency care and pre-surgical planning, including orthopedic evaluations.

We perform Spay & Neuter Surgery as a standard practice for all kittens/cats not intended for breeding, using laser surgery to minimize pain and recovery time. Our procedures include routine general surgery protocols and require pre-surgery FVRCP vaccinations. For cats with health issues detected pre-surgery, hospitalization and monitoring are available.

We provide Emergency Stabilization services for acute conditions like poisoning, seizures, or trauma. Our team delivers rapid IV fluid therapy, pain management, and oxygen therapy to counteract shock or distress, followed by intensive monitoring. Pain management includes analgesia tailored to the situation, and toxin exposure cases are handled with specific antidotes when available.

Our Pain Management protocols treat pre-, intra-, and postoperative pain for surgeries, dental extractions, or acute conditions like fractures or trauma. We use multimodal approaches (analgesics, NSAIDs where safe, and supportive therapies) to ensure comfort and expedite healing. Chronic pain for conditions like periodontal disease or arthritis is also managed with tailored strategies.
