We enforce Core Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo) as a mandatory requirement for all dogs and cats within the city limits. Proof of vaccination must be provided upon request by our staff or authorized city employees. These vaccinations are critical for public health and pet safety.

We provide Microchipping & Registration as part of our pet licensing program. Every licensed dog or cat in Sand Springs receives a microchip and registration tag to help reunite them with their owners if they become lost or stray.

While primarily focused on enforcement and shelter operations, we collaborate with local veterinary partners to promote Spay & Neuter Surgery for pets in our care. This service is essential for controlling pet overpopulation and ensuring the health of adoptable animals.

Our team provides Emergency Stabilization for animals brought to our shelter in critical condition, including those involved in bites, injuries, or neglect cases. Immediate care is administered to ensure their safety and recovery.

For animals requiring extended care, we offer Hospitalization & 24-Hour Monitoring within our facility. This includes pets recovering from surgery, illness, or those needing specialized attention until they are stable for adoption or return to their owners.

As part of our shelter operations, we offer Standard Pet Boarding for animals in our temporary care, including those awaiting adoption, owner reclaim, or medical evaluation. Our facility ensures safety and comfort during their stay.

We conduct Quality of Life Assessments for pets in our shelter to determine their well-being and make informed decisions about their care, including medical treatment, rehabilitation, or compassionate options when necessary.
