About This Clinic

Snip Central began out of a need for affordable wellness veterinary care in Central Oregon. We provide low-cost vaccine clinics for dogs and cats as well as spay/neuter services for cats.

Our facility is located centrally in Redmond, Oregon, serving communities throughout the region. We offer services including spay & neuter packages and weekly vaccine clinics for both dogs and cats.

Snip Central's low-cost clinics started out of a passion to reduce cat overpopulation. Surgical packages include an exam, spay/neuter, pain medication, and a tattoo to prevent unnecessary future surgeries.

Wellness & Preventive Care

Core Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo)

Available

We provide core vaccinations tailored to dogs (Rabies, DAPP which includes Distemper, Parvo, and Parainfluenza) and cats (HCP covering Herpesvirus, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia). These vaccinations protect your pet from life-threatening diseases and are part of our weekly low-cost vaccine clinics.

Heartworm Testing & Prevention

Available

Our vaccine clinics include heartworm testing and prevention for dogs as part of our comprehensive preventative care package. We prioritize early detection and protection against this potentially fatal parasite.

Microchipping & Registration

Available

We provide microchipping and lifetime registration for both dogs and cats as an added service during vaccine clinics. This increases the chance of reuniting lost pets with their families—a critical preventative measure in Central Oregon.

Parasite Deworming (Intestinal)

Available

Intestinal deworming treatments are available at SNIP Central for both cats and dogs as an add-on service during vaccine or spay/neuter visits. We prioritize parasite control as part of our comprehensive preventative care model.

Surgery

Spay & Neuter Surgery

Available

Our clinic specializes in spay and neuter surgeries for cats aged 8+ weeks (2+lbs). We offer low-cost, high-volume surgeries with pain management, green ink tattoos for identification, and rabbit-safe anesthesia protocols. Dog surgeries (≤40lbs, non-brachycephalic breeds) are occasionally available by appointment.
