Westerly Animal Shelter

The Westerly Animal Shelter is a state-of-the-art premier shelter adoption facility and regional outreach center located in Westerly, RI. Our mission is to promote the health and welfare of lost or abandoned pets.

We are responsible for pet impoundment, adoption services, safe keeping during emergencies, and education within the community. The shelter provides a clean, safe, loving, and healthy environment for animals until they find their forever homes.

The Westerly Animal Shelter offers comprehensive programs including volunteer opportunities, microchip/wellness clinics, and an annual rabies clinic. All pets leaving our facility are spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations through our onsite vet care program.
