Services are available at an affordable cost through our veterinary clinic.

We include screening for heartworm disease as part of our veterinary services. Early detection and preventive measures help safeguard pets from this serious and potentially fatal illness. We offer affordable testing and prevention plans tailored to each pet’s needs during their stay or through our wellness program.

We ensure all pets in our shelter receive regular flea control treatments as part of our care program. While we don’t mention specific off-the-shelf products, flea and tick prevention is a priority to protect the health and comfort of pets while they are in our temporary care, enhancing their chances of a successful adoption.

We provide permanent microchip identification for pets, ensuring your companion can be reunited with you if lost. Microchips cost $20 (including registration) during regular shelter hours or $15 at our vaccine clinics held every Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. This service helps protect pets and increases the chance of being returned home safely.

Our veterinary services include screening and treatment for intestinal parasites such as roundworms and hookworms. Regular deworming is a key part of maintaining pet health, especially for shelter pets, and we provide this care as part of our comprehensive wellness program.
