Humane Society-Black Hills, Pet Adoption

Welcome to The Humane Society of the Black Hills (HSBH) – a vital resource for animal welfare in Rapid City, SD. We are dedicated to adoptions, surrender services, and community animal management.

The HSBH manages approximately 4,000 animals each year thanks to generous donors, community support, and hundreds of volunteers. We offer a wide range of services for animals in need.

HSBH is an open admission shelter committed to providing care for all animals that come through our doors. We rely on the kindness of our supporters to continue our mission.
