Green Mountain Animal Defenders - Burlington

Green Mountain Animal Defenders (GMAD) is Vermont’s largest 100% volunteer-run animal protection organization advocating for the well-being of all animal species. We are located in Burlington, VT and promote humane choices.

We offer a wide range of services including rescue and emergency transportation services for animals, lost pet outreach, and spay/neuter programs to reduce homeless pets. We also provide education through awareness campaigns.

GMAD has provided spay neuter and vaccinations to over 58,000+ animals in low-income households. We are dedicated to making a difference for animals in need!
