Bristol Virginia Animal Care and Control

Bristol Virginia Animal Care and Control has been caring for and finding homes for the City of Bristol’s homeless dogs and cats for over 30 years, located in Bristol, VA.

Our mission is to provide services which safeguard public health and safety, educate citizens on responsible pet ownership and protect our community’s animals from cruelty and neglect. We offer temporary shelter and humane care.

We opened a new Animal Shelter and Adoption Center in April 2019 with facilities including dog and cat holding areas, an examining room, and a clinic room.
