Fairfax County Animal Shelter - Lorton Campus

The Fairfax County Animal Shelter - Lorton Campus is Fairfax County’s only open-access municipal animal shelter, located in Lorton, VA. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for 4,000-5,000 companion animals each year.

We offer a wide range of services including adoption programs, lost and found pet assistance, and community support initiatives like low-cost rabies vaccination clinics and a Pet Food Pantry. We also provide resources for surrendering pets and feline surgery.
