Frederick County Esther Boyd Animal Shelter

The Frederick County Esther Boyd Animal Shelter was established and designed to accept and house stray and unwanted dogs and cats of Frederick County. Located in Winchester, VA, the shelter is dedicated to providing humane care.

We offer services including pet adoption for both dogs and cats, as well as assistance with lost animal reports. Our team can also help explore alternatives to owner surrender. We strive to provide comprehensive care, including feline surgery when needed.

The shelter achieved its state certification in July of . We are committed to the welfare of animals and work diligently to reunite pets with their families or find them forever homes.
