During check-in, if your pet has evidence of active fleas, we will provide Capstar treatment to kill all live fleas within 24 hours. Additional take-home flea medication is also available for purchase.

We provide affordable spay and neuter services for all pets regardless of income or residency. Our clinic is approved by Humane Alliance/ASPCA and offers low-cost options to help control pet overpopulation while improving the health and longevity of your pets.

If your pet sustains a wound or laceration, we provide repair services to ensure proper healing and minimize complications. This includes post-surgical care instructions to prevent infection or reopening of the incision.

We handle post-operative complications resulting directly from surgery and provide guidance on when to seek emergency care. If your pet experiences severe issues after hours, we recommend contacting Kanawha Valley Veterinary Emergency Hospital or your primary veterinarian.

We monitor pets closely during their recovery period, especially after surgery. Pets are confined to a clean, dry indoor space for at least 7-10 days post-surgery to ensure proper healing and to avoid complications.

All patients receive injectable pain medication during surgery. Dogs go home with additional pain management for 3-5 days, while cats receive a 24-hour pain injection. Additional take-home pain medication can be purchased if needed.

We provide medical grooming services such as nail trimming and sanitary shaves during wellness visits or post-surgical care. This includes post-operative instructions for at-home care to maintain cleanliness and comfort.
